As well as winning a Gold medal in the Prestigious Blas Na Heireann Irish food awards in 2023  these Almond and Walnut Frangipane Mince Pies are about twice the size of a regular mince pie and a fantastic desert option served warm with some vanilla Ice cream or Fresh cream.  How do we make our Frangipane mince pies? We fill shortbread tartlets with Dublin whiskey spiked traditional spiced fruit and top with luscious, buttery almond sponge (frangipane) and toasted walnuts.  A lovely treat and a gorgeous gift.
